1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using zeroStudy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
zeroStudy is a language learning tool that provides subtitles, translations, and vocabulary tracking features for video content. The Service is heavily dependent on the current interface and accessibility of third-party platforms, including but not limited to Netflix and YouTube. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue specific features or the entire Service at any time, especially if third-party platforms implement technical changes that render our software incompatible.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are also responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Subscriptions, Lifetime Plans, and Billing
- 4.1 Recurring Subscriptions: You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (monthly or annually).
- 4.2 Lifetime Plan ("LTD"): The Lifetime Plan provides access to the Service for as long as zeroStudy remains commercially available and technologically viable. "Lifetime" refers to the lifespan of the Product, not the individual user.
- 4.3 Technological Compatibility: We do not guarantee that the Service will function indefinitely if third-party platforms (e.g., Netflix, YouTube) implement significant architectural changes. Such events are considered beyond our control.
- 4.4 AI Usage Limits (Monthly Credits): All plans, including the Lifetime Plan, are subject to fair usage policies regarding AI-powered features (e.g., LLM-based grammar analysis). LTD users are provided with a fixed monthly quota of AI credits that reset at the beginning of each billing cycle. We reserve the right to limit or charge extra for usage exceeding these quotas to ensure the sustainability of the Service.
5. Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all new subscriptions and Lifetime Plan purchases. If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase.
To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@zerostudy.app. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days and will be returned to the original payment method.
After the 14-day period, Lifetime Plan purchases are non-refundable. For recurring subscriptions, we do not offer refunds for partial periods, but you can cancel at any time to prevent future billing.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall zeroStudy be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
